I learned the misty background from my coworker, Caroline. She’s joining Goatober on Tumblr, and on Day 4, she made this drawing with misty forest background and it was so pretty! I decided to try on today’s drawing.
There are some areas here that I would love to fix, especially the boulder’s texture. Maybe in another time ?

This is a really simplified version of Indonesia’s Barong Bali. I made this in a rush, and while I feel I can do more, I’m actually pretty happy with how it turned out.
For those who are not familiar with Barong Bali, the actual costume is waaaaaaay more elaborate and grand than this drawing. Also, the costume itself is really big. The dancer who’s holding the headpiece has the whole body covered down to the toe. In this drawing, I made it simpler and smaller to focus on the mask aspect.
A month too late, but I just stumbled upon IKEA France’s Tiktok video, hinting a possible collab with Animal Crossing. Unfortunately, no further information about this other than IGN picked up this news when the video was posted.
