While sailing the Mediterranean Sea in 1962, the American aircraft carrier USS Independence flashed the Amerigo Vespucci with the light signal asking: “Who are you?” The full-rigged ship answered: “Training ship Amerigo Vespucci, Italian Navy.” The Independence replied: “You are the most beautiful ship in the world.”

This is a digital redraw from Inktober 2019 Day 4.

I really like the original drawing (I think this is a rare case where I don’t cringe looking at my old works, haha) so I didn’t do a lot of changes. I added a bit of sea-looking background and refined the color a bit.

I’ve been actively drawing again recently (yay!) and I really want to keep the momentum.

I’m starting to think that this blog can be improved (maybe some kind of portfolios area?) — but I still want to stick with blog-look. I already have some kind of “work archive” here, but I really want to tidy things up.

I’m going to put stuffs from my Photos (my works) and letsee what we can work from there.

And another manual watercolor practice (KLCC Park)…

It feels like we are cautiously optimistic recently. We now have 80% of the adult population that have received complete vaccination doses, and it seems like everyone starting to share a wee bit of celebrations mood — and it’s such a beautiful moment to see Mid-Autumn Festival marks the start of something new. Lets hope everyone is safe and healthy!

I’d also love to think the Moon Goddess is enjoying mooncakes with a certain rabbit-like mascot on the moon.

Scroll down and you will see “Featured Sites”. Never knew it brings back early 2000s, and it makes me so, so happy.
