• Ketika Wira Masih Bayi…

Nemu post jaman dulu, ketika Wira masih berusia kisaran satu tahun, hahaha.

Lagi ngecek e-mail, mendadak hape gw bunyi. ID caller Ari Firmansyah. Gw sempet mikir, “ada apa nih nelpon?”

    “Halo, Sayang. Ada apa?”

    “… … …”

    “… Halo? Sayang?”

    “… WAOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

    “… …”

    “APUCEPUCEEEEEE. PUCUWAAAAAAA!”

“… Wira mainan hapenya ayah ya?”

    “ABRUUUUUUUUUU!”

Gw dengerin aja sampe selese 😀

    “Iya? Wira udah sarapan?”

    “APUCUWAAAAAA!”

“Oooh. Makannya banyak? Sarapan apa tadi?”

    “PECAPECAPECA! WOOO?”

“Ibu udah sarapan tadi di kantor.”

    “BRUUUUU! PUCAPUCA!”

Lalu *TUT!* sambungan keputus. Mungkin hapenya dia matiin, mungkin akhirnya hapenya udah dipegang sama mbak-nya :)) Kejadian sebenernya, mas Ari lagi mandi dan BB-nya lupa di-lock. Yaudah, si unyil nggeratakin. Ujungnya?

  • “I was in Moscow, wandering around a park when yet another babushka asks me for a smoke. I give her one. She, again, points out my accent. I, again, tell her where I’m from.

She pulls out kvass and we sit down and drink it. We talk about the fall of the Soviet Union for a bit, and there’s a pause while she helps herself to another one of my cigarettes.

“So, is it as good as they say it is?” she asks.

    “What?” I ask.

“America,” she asks, with a tip of her lip.

I chuckle. “The streets are paved with gold and there’s no such thing as debt,” I tell her.

She clucks and sits back, lighting her cigarette. “So it’s a shithole just like it is here, then,” she says, and hands the lighter over to me as I hum in agreement.

    So, there’s that.”

  • Memasak

Kalo lagi masak makan siang atau makan malam buat Ari sama Wira, sering keinget kalo empat tahun yang lalu gw masak tumis kangkung aja harus sambil liat Google.

Jadi ga usah jiper kalo dibilang, “cewek kok ga bisa masak? Ga bisa jadi istri ntar!” karena:

    1. Memasak itu bukan “pekerjaan cewek”. Itu kemampuan buat bertahan hidup, men. Cewek DAN cowok sebaiknya bisa masak.
    3. I have no time for your sexist, discriminatory, degrading bullshit.
