• Stargazing

Living in the city means that stargazing is a luxury.

And it’s quite sad to know that the only way to achieve it is through a game.

But for now, it will do.

  • Yes. A WhatsApp text message from me to the school at 7:30 AM in the freaking morning.

We don’t pay teachers enough, man. This is one of the many weirdnesses they have to deal on daily basis.

(Listening to Wira’s stories about his friends, it feels like I’m watching Netflix series with all the intrigues and drama, only with smaller humans.)

  • Crisis averted

Tarantulas, man. When you are looking for them, they rarely appear. Then they just popped in out of nowhere.

(And yes, this is from weeks ago. I just remembered it now.)

  • Coda alla vaccinara

This is one of my favorite dishes in an Italian restaurant we frequently visit.

It’s an oxtail with thick tomato, carrot, and celery stew, served with a dash of cream. You can ask for either saffron rice or mashed potato as the side.

I always want to make this, but not sure if the kids will love it ? I love Indonesian oxtail soup, and they never super enthusiastic about it.

Unless if I am allowed to eat the whole pot, though.

    (Of course I am allowed).)

    (Hello, food coma.)

  • Two Dots

I used to play this game (Two Dots) until I stopped roughly 5-6 years ago.

The reason? I played this game during my first trimester of my pregnancy with Rey.

The song used to trigger my acid reflux and near-vomit experiences. I remember when I picked up the game again after Rey was born, I almost re-served my dinner that I just digested.

It was until a couple of weeks ago I replayed this game.

And no acid reflux. Only mighty annoyance because the gosh dang fire balls just burn everything in sight.

(Oh. And Rey plays this game too.)

  • I rarely saved post drafts when writing a blog post because I usually able to ramble in a short period of time, until today, I decided to write about how I designed this blog (sidebar, cute background, pixel-thingy, and the likes.) Suffice to say, it’s, uh, long. My dormant Happiness Engineer-soul came back in full force, hahahah!

I’m still working on it. Hopefully, I can publish it by this evening (Malaysia timezone).
