This is pretty neat.

I didn’t draw anything yesterday because I got too busy and too tired.
So! Nasi lemak is as Malaysia as Malaysia itself. It’s really easy to find this nation’s favorite — especially in the morning-time; although Malaysians enjoy nasi lemak virtually every possible moment in a day.
There is this nasi lemak stall nearby my place (although yes, you can find nasi lemak stall every 200 meters in this country) and suffice to say, this drawing is quite a daily sight.

(It’s 10:20 PM and I’m hungry)

If I’m not too lazy (heh ?) I usually go to a minimarket/convenience store nearby my place to buy lunch — onigiri (?), sandwiches, omurice (fried rice with ketchup, topped with omelette), or all of the above.
Whenever I’m there, the place usually packed with folks from nearby office buildings — and they are there to buy lunch too or snacks or some stationeries.
I guess I have this soft spot about convenience store. I love how they provide conveniences, some kind of a la carte needs for folks in a hurry, or a place for tourists to stop by and buy some necessities (during my trip to HK, my very first question was, “where’s the nearest convenience store?” ?)

I found myself liking and enjoying this kind of drawing ? Drawing some kind of passing moments (?) on daily life. It’s a good break during my ?dramatic? approach in drawing.
It has been raining quite often here in KL, especially during the evening. And we have been having many construction works in this city. Saw this moment when we went home from dinner, so I decided to draw it.

I decided to brave myself doing, I’m not so sure the term, mood drawing? No, not “mood”… More like drawing daily situations or daily encounters — this time, standing in front of a minimarket.
I learned how to draw straight lines and understanding depth and details of a minimarket. Most of the memories come from my trip to Hong Kong, where I see lots and lots of boxes and stuffs in front of stores, waiting to be picked up by the staffs.
I’ve been noticing some blogs that I frequently visit that they have update logs on it. Something like “added page XYZ on (date)”, and so on.
My FOMO has been screaming for me to follow suit, hahah.
