I can’t draw ship to save my life so I decided to “wing it” (get it get it? Heheheheheh) and make some kind of fantasy-themed drawing.

I can’t draw ship to save my life so I decided to “wing it” (get it get it? Heheheheheh) and make some kind of fantasy-themed drawing.

I want to draw Adrien Brody but it seems like the whole universe going, “okay, LOL, no. Here’s a super weird version of Timotheé Chalamet instead”
I’m now conflicted whether I should follow Inktober’s prompt or draw whatever I have in my mind that day. Both are fun and have its own advantages. I think I can stick with the prompt and learn techniques first.

Okay, I have talked about this multiple times (and personally violated what I’ve been saying MULTIPLE TIMES): I want to loosen myself during this year’s Inktober.
I found myself a control freak. I’ve been enjoying digital so much with its Undo and Zoom features, I found myself stressed out even before I sketched this one.
Anyway, this year’s Inktober, try to loosen up, not stressing out what others say about you and your work, and have fun.

While sailing the Mediterranean Sea in 1962, the American aircraft carrier USS Independence flashed the Amerigo Vespucci with the light signal asking: “Who are you?” The full-rigged ship answered: “Training ship Amerigo Vespucci, Italian Navy.” The Independence replied: “You are the most beautiful ship in the world.”
This is a digital redraw from Inktober 2019 Day 4.
I really like the original drawing (I think this is a rare case where I don’t cringe looking at my old works, haha) so I didn’t do a lot of changes. I added a bit of sea-looking background and refined the color a bit.

Adobe Fresco on iPad Pro.
I’ve been actively drawing again recently (yay!) and I really want to keep the momentum.
I’m starting to think that this blog can be improved (maybe some kind of portfolios area?) — but I still want to stick with blog-look. I already have some kind of “work archive” here, but I really want to tidy things up.
I’m going to put stuffs from my Photos (my works) and letsee what we can work from there.

And another manual watercolor practice (KLCC Park)…

This is my personal blog, so anything goes. This blog has been around since 2014, which means you would, and could, see my past writings with different perspectives and mindsets at that time. While I tried to tidy things up here, I personally feel that things should not be too “clean” or polished. You see me grow and learn in this blog. This blog is a record-keeping of what I was, what I am, and what I will be. What I wrote in the past might not reflect who I am right now, nor me revisiting the topic.
While things here are generally PG-13, I must remind you that I’m an adult, which means some topics might be too heavy for younger readers.
Next project: Intermediate Theme Developer
I want to develop themes that sing praises for the 2000s. I always feel we could have a bit more 2000s-era whimsy.
