• Ah, youth. I used to eat three bags of chips and drink milk directly from the jug while typing my final papers furiously β€” and got myself stayed awake with black coffee and cigarettes.

β€œAmuse” is too far-fetched. β€œStressed out” and THE NEED TO MAKE OUR ISLAND ?PERFECT? is all-time high.

I’m okay with the fruits and the woods. I’m NOT okay with the wasps. NOT OKAY, FILBERT. NOT OKAY.

My favorite is the snow-version. There is this jingle-thingy going on. Also, 11 PM version is my jam.

Dude. The kids on the game be like, β€œoh, Tom Nook is taking all our hard-earned money” and us the geriatric millennials be like, β€œWELCOME TO ADULTHOOD. AT LEAST I HAVE FULL OWNERSHIP OF MY OWN HOUSE ?”

Whatever floats. You can get a neat amount of money just by shelling seashells? I’m sold (refer to the comment by geriatric millennials pls)

Our lives are not fake. What fake is some politicians and self-proclaimed β€œworld leaders” decided to throw hissy fit and attacking other countries under the pretence of β€œpeace” which costing civilians’ livelihood and safety. I mean if you reeeeeally have to wage a fight with other so-called leaders, just pick a place and settle things with a game of UNO or Jenga and see who’s better in concentration and focus for goodness sake.

  • Stargazing

Living in the city means that stargazing is a luxury.

And it’s quite sad to know that the only way to achieve it is through a game.

But for now, it will do.

  • Yes. A WhatsApp text message from me to the school at 7:30 AM in the freaking morning.

We don’t pay teachers enough, man. This is one of the many weirdnesses they have to deal on daily basis.

(Listening to Wira’s stories about his friends, it feels like I’m watching Netflix series with all the intrigues and drama, only with smaller humans.)

  • Crisis averted

Tarantulas, man. When you are looking for them, they rarely appear. Then they just popped in out of nowhere.

(And yes, this is from weeks ago. I just remembered it now.)

  • Coda alla vaccinara

This is one of my favorite dishes in an Italian restaurant we frequently visit.

It’s an oxtail with thick tomato, carrot, and celery stew, served with a dash of cream. You can ask for either saffron rice or mashed potato as the side.

I always want to make this, but not sure if the kids will love it ? I love Indonesian oxtail soup, and they never super enthusiastic about it.

Unless if I am allowed to eat the whole pot, though.

    (Of course I am allowed).)

    (Hello, food coma.)

  • Next project: Intermediate Theme Developer

I want to develop themes that sing praises for the 2000s. I always feel we could have a bit more 2000s-era whimsy.
