    Waktu gw lahiran anak-anak, nyokap bilang ke gw kalo, “Ari harus ada mendampingi kamu.” Banyak dokter obgyn yang juga berprinsip sama, bahwa ayah harus ada saat ibu melahirkan supaya “lebih menghargai si ibu” (walopun otak riwil gw berkata, “so basically most men will respect women when the women went through heavy labor between life and death rather than respecting them as human being on the first placeMMmmmmMMMMmmmOKay...”)

    Dan selama lahiran bocah dua kali, ya gw taunya kontraksi, ngomelin Ari, dan ngeden.

    Nah, gw barusan liat video lahiran normal di Twitter. Tanpa sensor dan tanpa warna hitam putih. Detik-detik ketika si bayi keluar dari vagina.

    Jadi, ngeliat yang benernya terjadi di bawah sana kan.

    Holy macaroni.

    Gw sampe jerit, “HANJIR,” pas liat si bayi akhirnya keluar sebadan-badan.

    Sekarang PAHAM BANGET arti, “kaya ngeluarin bola dunia dari dalem perut.”

  • WordPress Ulang Tahun

    OK, ini telat BANGET, cuma gw baru ngeh kalo WordPress berusia 15 tahun di tahun 2018 ini.

    Dan yang bikin gw bangga nggak penting?

    Tahun 2018 ini gw 11 tahun di WordPress. Di bulan yang sama pula, hahaha. Bulan Mei. Ini rasanya seperti ngeliat seorang teman dari kecil (oke, jeda 4 tahun, tapi NGGAK APA-APA LAH YAAAA,) ngikutin perjalanan dia, bahkan ketika temen baik lu satunya lagi ikutan bergabung, tahun ini blingsatan kenapa kok ga ada featured WordPress theme seperti biasa (ternyata karena tim WordPress sedang sibuk mengerjakan Project Gutenberg), nyobain WordPress.org lalu balik lagi ke WordPress.com karena aku sobat qizmin dirasa belum butuh punya domain sendiri, dan ngeliat betapa berkembangnya WordPress sekarang ini.

    Gw yang, “UWUWUWUWUWU~” pas gw baca artikel ini, hahahaha (From Kubrick to Twenty Sixteen: A History of WordPress Default Themes) Apalagi ketika ngeliat themes jadul Kubrick. Gw pribadi suka banget (IYA, agak kontradiktif dengan keluhan gw dulu kalo WordPress terlalu “serius”) dengan default themes dari WordPress karena secara umum bisa diutak-atik sendiri dan, apa ya, seperti foolproof gitu (?) Gw sendiri ya balik-balik lagi pake Twenty Eleven karena secara keseluruhan ini theme aslinya udah memenuhi keinginan gw. Gambar ga nggilani, ukuran font sesuai, dan mendukung post formatting.

    Happy really belated birthday, WordPress. Congratulations for what you had and having, and best wishes for what you are going to be.

    Google says Google+ currently has “low usage and engagement” and that 90 percent of Google+ user sessions last less than five seconds. Still, the company plans to keep the service alive for enterprise customers who use it to facilitate conversation among co-workers. New features will be rolled out for that use case, the company says. Google is focusing on a “secure corporate social network,” which is odd considering this announcement comes alongside news that the company left profile details unprotected.

    Gw sebenernya rada kepikiran karena ada beberapa komunitas di Google+ yang rada aktif seperti komunitas Bullet Journal. Memang sih, dianggap nggak signifikan, sehingga keputusan untuk menghentikan layanan juga jadi prioritas — cuma ya ini bikin keinget aja dengan keputusan menutup Path, walaupun masih ada penggunanya. Mau gimana juga pasti ada rasa sedih.
