• Inktober Day 21: Fuzzy

I’m taking the meaning of “fuzzy” as “abstract” or “unclear”. In Ghibli “Sen to Chihiro” (Spirited Away), the character No-Face (Kaonashi) is neither good or bad. I even feel Kaonashi is childlike. Chihiro shows kindness to Kaonashi, which makes Kaonashi following Chihiro with hope Kaonashi can make Chihiro happy. Kaonashi received excessive attentions and splurged… Continue reading »

  • Inktober Day 20: Sprout

This drawing is heavily referenced from Disney Pixar’s “Wall.E”. “Wall.E” is one of my favorite movies, and I really like how the original story is actually a love story. Continue reading »

I got a bit or art block on this, and I got slightly nervous for tomorrow’s to-do list (I have to do something about this anxiety of mine.) All in all, I’m quite happy with this and I’m learning depth on this drawing. Continue reading »

I always use flash/torchlight/flashlight whenever I take my drawings for clearer image but it seems like the black marker reflecting the light. Oh well. Continue reading »

  • Inktober Day 15: Helmet

I’m currently in a vacation (staycation) and we are literally in the middle of Malacca Strait and, well, the data connection is not super great. Anyway! No Little Cat but still with little critters (part of the story, I guess?) I really enjoy drawing the little mouse on the tub. Continue reading »
