Not sure if “hermit crab” included in shell family, but I hope it is 😆 The girl in the drawing is actually my daughter. When looking for ideas, I remembered when we were in a family vacation in Langkawi. She crouched near a hermit crab, obviously interested, while the poor hermit crab tried to hide from her.
As much as I like this drawing, I feel something is seriously “off” from this drawing. I actually suspect my palette-creating ability 😅 For this drawing, I created my own palette in Procreate, and it seems like I didn’t consider color value and hue, hence the weird coloring 🤔 It feels out of place and not coherent with the whole mood. An opportunity for me to learn more! 😄
