    Who Killed Cock Robin?

    Who killed Cock Robin?
    I, said the Sparrow,
    with my bow and arrow,
    I killed Cock Robin.

    Who saw him die?
    I, said the Fly,
    with my little eye,
    I saw him die.

“People are so strange. What kind of death did you have in mind?”

Today’s topic might be quite morbid; but somehow I feel like I have to talk about this. Talking and constantly remember about death, however, are encouraged in Islam.

Allah Almighty says, “Every self will taste death. You will be paid your wages in full on the Day of Rising. Anyone who is distanced from the Fire and admitted to the Garden, has triumphed. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of delusion,” (3:185)

    Kenapa?

Tapi gampang banget kita lupa. Saya, contohnya, sering sekali lupa.

Kemarin malam, saya membaca ‘About Death‘.

“What kind of death do you have in mind?”

    Rasanya seperti ditampar.

    By Time.

    Indeed man is in loss,

Except those who have faith and do righteous deeds, and enjoin one another to [follow] the truth, and enjoin one another to patience. [QS. Al-Asr]

    Some tweakings

So I did some tweakings here and there on this WordPress Twenty Thirteen theme (I freaking hate titles on ‘Image’ post format). Pretty happy that I still managed to remember some CSS codes although it’s pretty rustic already.

    Hurt

“… the other day i was in the studio with some new friends, and i asked them which one song they would send into space, to live on forever, if they had to.” — Lorde

I’m not Lorde’s friend, obviously (although I really want to ?) but if I got that question, my answer would be ‘Hurt’ by Johnny Cash (yes, the song is Nine Inch Nail’s but Trent Reznor said that once Johnny Cash sang it, the song became Johnny’s yo)
