    Bloghopping

During its heyday, folks were familiar with the term “blogring” or “webring”. I think the latter came from MySpace. I remember we used to exchange blog links and visiting our friends’ blog is some kind of daily habit.

I still maintain my friends’ link on the page Archives & Blogrolls — and you might find yours there. Do let me know if you want to have your blog link listed there ? I always love reading blogs, and I always prefer visiting the site directly.

The same goes with removing the link. If you are not comfortable having your link listed there, please let me know and I can remove it.

    Happy Anniversary!

Happy 11th anniversary, dear! May our following days, months, and years will always as fun as Two Dots and Homescapes! And whenever we passed the Ultra Hard levels, we always have each other to hype ourselves up, “good job, ayah! Good job, ibu!

I just started K-drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” and the main character on the series, Young-Woo, has a huge interest on whales.

  • Cold update

It has been… 2 days? 3 days? And the flu stil persists. At this point, this is no longer “common cold”, man. This is either flu or upper respiratory tract infection.

The fever has been REALLY annoying. I’m fine with 38-39°C fever for one day, AND ONE DAY, only. The “fever”, though, has been hovering obnoxiously on 37-38°C. That kind of fever-but-not-really. Annoying enough to make you feel like you want to go to the doctor but you know that doctors will see it as low-grade fever, aaaand, you know, we are still in this thing called “freaking pandemic” and clogging health system would be the least on the priority list, hm.

Interestingly, this flu-thing seemingly happened among my friends, specifically, the Southeast Asian friends.

So far, there were two Philippines friends and one Indonesian told me they just went through the same thing and it took them a week to recover.

Oh, well. Hopefully, things will get better on the weekends.

  • Honey citron

    Honey citron

A must-have whenever cold creeps in. I had to take AFK (Away From Keyboard/day-off) today as I started feeling some itchiness on my throat. Sure enough, my temperature hits 37.8°C earlier today.

Honey citron is perfect not only when you are in need of citrus boost, but you can make it as cold beverage too. It tasted like orange marmalade (and yes, you can use it as toast spread.)

This brand, KMT, is pretty popular and available on most major K-supermarkets/asian groceries.

Drawing practice: Vector but not really

The drawing looks vector-ish (I found myself really liking clean and tight lineart) but it’s actually using a pixel brush (the same as before: Sharp inker) and I use soft crayon brush for the skin and the background,

    Drawing practice: Minimalist and monotone

I’m so happy with the result! I learned how to not going overboard with the lines and keep it as minimum as possible. At first, I want to have the orange color as the background only, but I’m glad I keep the color on the skin and use white as the highlights.
